The Emergency First Response Care for Children course teaches people how to provide emergency care for injured or ill children and infants. This course allows participants to learn, practice and apply emergency care skills in a nonstressful environment that encourages action.
By introducing knowledge and skills in simple steps, participants find it easy to remember and use
appropriate emergency care procedures when faced with a child in need.
The Emergency First Response Care for Children course is based on internationally recognized medical guidelines for emergency care that were produced through a consensus process of practicing professionals in the emergency medical field. This course reflects a well-researchedinstructional design for this type of training.
To enroll in the EFR Care For Children (CFC) course, participants need only have an interest in learning emergency care specific to children and infants. There is no minimum age or experience requirement.
